Il Casale di Mele House Rules - Use of the pool, and all other areas are entirely at guests’ risk. The owners of Il Casale di Mele are not responsible for any accident, loss or damage which may be sustained by the guest, members of his party or visitors to the property regardless of cause. Owners reserve their discretionary right to request any individual to vacate the property for disruptive behavior without refund. No smoking is permitted inside the building.
Arrival And Departure Date and Times - Rentals will run from Saturday to Saturday. Please plan your arrival between 4pm to 7pm, and departure by 10am to allow cleaning before and after your stay.
Number of Guests - Without prior owner consent only those individuals named on the Reservation Form are permitted to stay at Il Casale di Mele. There are 3 double bedroom as well as a pull out bed and a half in the study which allows 6 adults plus one additional teen or adult. Please use comment form at time of booking to list the number of guests you will be bringing as well as their names.
2010 Rates
High Season Rates : 3,000 euros per week/Deposit required 30% at booking unless week requested is 8 weeks or earlier from the time of reservation.
Low Season : 2,7000 euros per week/Deposit required 30% at booking unless week requested is 8 weeks or earlier from the time of reservation.
This price includes accommodation for one week from Saturday to Saturday. Check in is between 4-7pm. If you will be later please let us know. Check out the following Saturday is by 10am.
Deposit and Payment - A deposit of 30% of full payment is required to hold your reservation at time of booking. Final payment must be completed 8 weeks before arrival at Il Casale di Mele. If booking is made 8 weeks or closer to the date of your arrival then the complete payment is needed at time of booking. Once initial deposit has been paid a booking form will be sent to you by email to fill out with all your travel and personal details.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations must be made in writing and will be considered effective on the date received. If a reservation is cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival, the charge is 25% of the rental fee. If a reservation is cancelled 59 days prior to arrival or less, the charge is 100% of the rental fee unless another renter can be found to cover your week. If another renter can be found you will be charged 25% of the rental fee to cover advertising.
If one must cancel, there is a possibility to reserve Il Casale di Mele for a different arrival/departure date without penalty depending upon availability of the vacation home and owner discretion.
Security Deposit - Guests are responsible for any damage, breakage and on-site expenses during occupancy. Upon arrival, guests must pay a 500 euro security deposit in cash which will be returned in full upon departure minus charges for damage, breakage or on-site expenses. This fee also covers use of the TomTom GPS unit during your stay. You will be required to sign a release to use the TomTom for the week. If lost or stolen, it’s replacement cost will come out of your security deposit.
Additional Charges - Should there be any special requests (additional cleaning, shopping etc), these costs are also to be paid upon departure.
Health and Travel Insurance - The owners of Il Casale di Mele strongly recommend that guests ensure adequate health insurance coverage for their time in Italy in case of accidents or illness and consider purchasing travel insurance for their personal financial protection.
